This woman assumed her trainer was flirting, he just thought she looked like Buzz Lightyear
Getting a flirty text from someone you like is the ultimate confidence boost. But sexy messages can often go south fast. (There’s an entire Twitter account dedicated to shitty “romantic” texts from men.)
Which is why it’s infinitely more wholesome when the result ends up being unexpectedly hilarious. For example, receiving a meme of your Photoshopped face.
Emily Baumgartner recalled her recent experience with potential flirting when her personal trainer asked for her number and to take a picture of her. Sounds interesting, right? All seemed to be going in a flirty direction until Bumgartner received the actual, uh, message.
Baumgartner told Mashable that she had been working with her trainer for a month at that point, and her initial response to the meme was “Oh wow… I think that’s my best look yet.” The internet agreed, and the response to her Toy Story twinning look was an immediate “yeah that seems about right.”
Hahahah omg. Emily Buzzgartner.

But most people couldn’t get past the fact that he seemed to be clowning her hard. I mean, depending on your love for Pixar, getting compared to Buzz Lightyear could either be a great compliment — maybe he’s into that kinda thing — or the roast of the century. The toy thought he was a real space commander, after all.
Someone call the police she just got murdered

When asked if she actually thinks she resembles the famed Star Commander, Baumgartner said “There’s been moments where I glance at the picture quickly and I can see it a little, but I can’t say I really think I resemble him THAT much.” However, she says she did get a good laugh from it.
But even for a quick joke, this guy totally went above and beyond. To infinity… and beyond. You get the picture.
